Emergency Leave

For employees pursuing further studies or training. Per company policy / CBA; may be paid, unpaid, or partially paid.

Service Incentive Leave (SIL): 5 paid days/yr after 1 year of service, mandated by Labor Code Art. 95. WORKSPHR ships SIL pre-configured and applies the unused-days cash conversion automatically each December.

  • How does SIL cash conversion work?
    Per Labor Code Article 95, unused SIL is convertible to cash at year-end. WORKSPHR auto-computes the conversion amount and includes it in the December payroll cycle. Audit-ready computation log.
  • Can multiple managers approve a leave?
    Yes, Multi-level approval up to 5 levels. Common pattern: Direct Manager → HR → Department Head. Auto-route to backup approver if primary is on leave themselves.
  • Can employees request leave from their phone?
