The problem we couldn’t look away from.
In 2023, our team was building software for Filipino SMEs across BPO, retail, and manufacturing. Every single one of them, without exception, had the same complaint about HR & payroll: “the systems we use weren’t built for the Philippines.”
Some used Sprout. Some used QuickBooks Payroll. Some used spreadsheets. Some outsourced to accountants charging ₱25,000-₱40,000 monthly for what should be a 30-minute job. All of them had errors, wrong SSS contributions, late BIR filings, miscomputed 13th month, missed PhilHealth premium reform updates. Penalties, audit anxiety, and 3-day payroll cycles every cutoff.
The market gap was obvious: foreign HRIS retrofitted for the Philippines, or local tools without real software engineering investment. No one had built an HRIS in Pampanga, by Filipinos who understand the rhythm of BIR Form 1601-C deadlines, SSS R-5 nuances, PhilHealth’s 2024 rate reform, Pag-IBIG MCRF, DOLE labor inspections, and BPO night-differential rules.
So in late 2024, CRUD.IT Solutions Inc. began building WORKSPHR, the Philippines’ first natively built All-in-One HRIS & Payroll. Not adapted. Not localized. Designed here, by Filipinos who had to live with the bad tools, for Filipinos who deserve better.

On April 6, 2026, we launched WORKSPHR publicly, the Philippines’ first natively built All-in-One HRIS & Payroll. We’re a small Filipino team based in Berthaphil III, Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga, and we’re inviting the first 37 Filipino businesses to shape the product with us as Founding Partners. Our team is Filipino. Our compliance research is done by Filipinos. That’s what “built here” means.
