Communications Module

Reach the right people at the right time.

Draft, schedule and target announcements to specific Filipino teams — from holiday memos to policy updates. Critical posts banner the dashboard. Drafts stay private until you're ready.

Four things every internal-comms post needs.

Built for the HR generalist who writes the holiday memo on a Monday morning and the comms lead who runs an all-hands every quarter.

Save a draft to keep working on the wording, then flip the status to Publishedwhen you're ready. Drafts are author-only; published posts go to the targeted feed instantly.

  • Draft (private) and Published (live) toggle
  • Filter tabs: All / Draft / Published
  • Drafts editable; published is read-only by design
  • One-click publish from the draft card

Three steps from blank page to published post.

Step
1

Draft the announcement

Write the title, description (preview text) and full body using bold, italics, lists and links. Save as draft any time — only the author can see it until you publish.

Step
2

Target & schedule

Pick the roles (or All Employees), set Category and Priority, and add Start / End dates. Critical priority pins the post as a banner across the dashboard until acknowledged.

Step
3

Publish — employees notified

Set status to Publishedand the post lands in every targeted employee's Self-Service feed. Mobile push goes out instantly; email digest is optional for High/Critical posts.

Native to the WORKSPHR platform. Announcements use the same role data as HR records — no separate user list to maintain, no sync to break. Web, mobile, push notification, optional email digest, all from one screen.

  • Who can post company announcements in WORKSPHR?
By default, HR Admin and Management roles can create and publish announcements. You can extend posting rights to specific roles (Department Head, Team Lead, Comms) using role-based permissions. Every published announcement records the author and timestamp for audit.
  • How do employees see announcements?
Employees see announcements the moment they log into Employee Self-Service(web or mobile app). Targeted announcements appear in their feed; ones that don't match their role are filtered out. Critical-priority announcements show as a banner across the top until acknowledged.
  • Can I schedule an announcement to publish later?
Yes. Set a Start Date for when the announcement becomes visible and an End Date for when it expires from the active feed. Useful for holiday-schedule reminders, payroll-cycle updates, and policy effective dates that you want to go live at midnight.
  • Do announcements integrate with email or chat?
Yes. Critical and High priority announcements can trigger an email digest to targeted employees. We also push to the WORKSPHR mobile app via push notification. Slack and MS Teams webhooks are available for tech-forward teams.
  • Can I edit a published announcement?
Drafts are fully editable. Published announcements are read-only by design — to preserve the historical record of what employees were told and when. If you need to update the message, create a new announcement that supersedes the old one (and delete the old one if appropriate).
  • Can I target announcements to specific roles or departments?
Yes. Each announcement has a Target Roles multi-select. Pick one role, several roles, or All Employees. Useful for posting Manager-only memos, Engineering-only updates, or branch-specific schedule changes without spamming everyone.

Stop blasting company-wide emails nobody reads.
